I feel like my prayers have been answered! COVERGIRL Queen Collection is launching a NEW lipstick collection in January 2011 with 24 gorgeous shades, designed by makeup legend, Pat McGrath. The redesigned packaging went from the classic silver that most CoverGirl lipsticks come in to a deep bronze….a little Fashion Fair-ish but I can dig it. In addition, Queen Latifah partnered with Queen Collection to hand pick five beautiful and talented up-and-coming hip hop artists to re-record her hit song, U.N.I.T.Y. During this journey, Queen filmed 10 webisodes, “The Road to U.N.I.T.Y”, featuring the girls (and some of her other inspirations including MC Lyte and Yo-Yo). Queen, herself, appears in the video and comments on the state of music and hip-hop. This incredible web series premiered on the COVERGIRL Facebook page last week, with new webisodes uploading every week.

i want every single one of them! i am soooooo glad they fixed up this nursing home collection because they were super slacking. talking about grandma colors. there was nothing queen about it. i can’t wait to see it all!
LOL! I honestly think that they received a lot of slack with the previous colors. They should have enlisted Pat McGrath to begin with. I would also add Sam Fine to the list but he\’s working on his own line. Maybe we can get some blush after this launch.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe this new lipstick revamp is the start of some changes? Maybe some blush and some highlighters are in the works. We can only hope. I have to review the concealer soon.

I love her too! I'm happy they went with her. I rather have a makeup goddess like herself than a celebrity behind the collection.
i LOVE the nudes collection! im ALL ABOUT NUDE LIPS. but every major brand only caters to white girls for nude lips. no lie i went to sephora one time and talked to the chick abt doing a nude lip and she had no idea how to approach it for a black girl. SIGH. so yeah. i approve of the nudes. some of the other colors are iffy though.

I want to try all of these, LOL…. well not really but i do see a lot of colors that i want to try and i love Pat McGrath. I hope they do come out with other Queen Collection/McGrath collections.
