$3 MAC Ruby Woo Dupe

You ladies sent me on a hunt for a drugstore dupe for MAC “Ruby Woo” lipstick and I think I got it right on the first try.  I was happy with Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color when I tried it a while back but was also impressed with how opaque they were.  Naturally, I went back to what was best to find a great drugstore brand of red lipstick that wouldn’t hurt my pockets.  This tube of “Stoplight Red” (911D) was less than $3 at Wal-Mart!  The color is about half a shade lighter than MAC “Ruby Woo” but it wasn’t too noticeable.  The finish is flat but not as matte as MAC “Ruby Woo”.  It has a small amount of sheen to it.  It’s a great cool toned red that last for hours.  I ate dinner and had several glasses of water and it was still there.  I noticed just a little wear in the center of my lips but it wasn’t much and normal for most lipsticks.  Now you’ll definitely need a lip liner to pair with it because of the poorly designed lipstick tip.  Not sure who thought it would be cool to make this tip round and practically with a flat angle.  Despite that one issue it’s a great budget friendly red lipstick.

None, but NYX has a ton of red liners that are pretty good.
