15 Tips for How to Get the Perfect Butt

And you’re not alone. More and more young people find themselves chasing after ways to get a bigger and better butt. While it may seem impossible to achieve, there are several different ways you can improve your booty to help make you feel happier and more confident in your body.

Exercising, dieting, and cosmetic surgery are all examples of how to get the perfect butt. Of course, it takes some careful planning and research to make sure you’re putting your energy in the right place.

1. Start by Stretching

2. Do the Right Exercises

3. Hold the Position

But it’s not just enough to stretch and do the right exercises. It’s also important to make the most of each individual exercise.

When you do squats, lunges, or bridges hold the position for 30 seconds. You’ll probably start to feel the burn after on a few seconds but keep pushing through! The burn means your muscles are strengthening, so the longer you can hold the position, the bigger your muscles will grow.

4. Do Pause Reps

While holding the position is a great way to build your butt muscles, you may not want to hold every position for 30 seconds. This may tire you out faster and cause you to shorten your work out period.

Instead, we suggest mixing pause reps and holding the position. When you do pause reps, you merely wait about 2 seconds before assuming the position. For example, for squats, you would wait two seconds before standing back up. For bridges, you would wait 2 seconds with your butt on the floor before raising it up again.

This helps you attain the perfect butt by forcing your butt to do all the work. If you don’t wait two seconds, your body will achieve the position easier by using momentum. Instead, pause to let the momentum die down before continuing.

5. Use Weights

All these exercises are great to get you working on that booty. But, if you really want to commit to building a bigger butt, you should use weights.

Weights will just make your body work that much harder during your exercise routine, which will help your butt muscle strengthen and grow. If you’re new to working out, it’s okay to start with light weights (or no weights at all) and then gradually add weight on as you notice your routine is getting easier for you to accomplish.

The goal is to keep challenging yourself by making your exercises harder and harder.

6. Use Your Heels

Alright, this one is important! When building a bigger but, it’s important that you’re working the butt muscle. You could do all the squats you want, but if you’re feeling the burn in your legs but not your butt, you’ll just get big legs and keep your small booty.

To ensure that you’re giving your butt a workout, use your heels when pushing up. If you use your toes, your legs will be the ones getting the workout. If you keep forgetting to focus on your heels, try curling your toes or placing your toes on a thin book to help you remember to use your heels.

7. Squeeze that Butt

Squeezing your butt is an easy way to help build up butt muscles.

Every time you do bridges or hip thrusts, try squeezing your butt at the peak of the position. Squeeze tight and hold it for a couple of seconds to get the best results.

8. Only Exercise a Couple Times a Week

You may be tempted to exercise your butt every day, but this can actually prevent you from building a bigger butt. This is because your muscles need time to rest and grow in between exercises. This is why people have separate leg days, arm days, and core days.

It’s recommended that you only do butt-centered exercises 1 to 2 days a week. Some people find it hard to keep an exercise regime when they only work out 2 times a week. To avoid this, you could commit to a more encompassing exercise schedule by doing butt exercises 2 times a week and choosing other exercises to fill in the other few days.

9. Work on Your Diet

While exercise is an important part of your butt transformation, you also need to have the proper diet.

Protein is vital when trying to build any muscle, so be sure to include lots of lean protein into your diet. Protein powder can also be a great way to get added protein, especially on days you plan to exercise.

Additionally, make sure you’re getting a balanced diet full of nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables. Don’t forget those healthy fats, like olive oil and coconut oil. But most importantly, cut down on your processed foods and sweets, and avoid all those fad diets!
