As 2019 has finally arrived, it’s about time you made some beauty resolutions and stuck to them no matter what. Here are five of them we find most interesting and important, so check them out and improve the quality of your life this year!

Removing your makeup every night before you go to bed is absolutely essential – no matter how tired or tipsy you may be. Yes, we know that this is probably the last thing on your to-do list after a long day at work or a night out, but you know what? It’s a crucial step if you want your skin to remain healthy, luminous, and free from breakouts, which is exactly why you should remove makeup and cleanse your face thoroughly before crashing out. Did you know that the makeup you wear for hours is highly likely to trap dirt and various environmental pollutants on the surface of your skin? We bet you didn’t, so remember that these can result in clogged pores, dry skin, acne, and even degradation of collagen, which may lead to premature aging. If that isn’t a good enough reason to remove your makeup before bedtime, we don’t know what is!

When it comes to your hair care products, you should go for sulfate-free shampoos as sulfates are known for causing build-up, striping your color, and making your hair dry and brittle. In fact, these are the chemicals that make shampoos rich and foamy, but guess what? You don’t really need them in your life! The same goes for parabens in skincare products, which are meant to extend their shelf life and prevent bacteria growth. However, they’re said to cause breast cancer, promote skin aging, and even alter sexual behavior, which is why you need to stay away from them as much as possible. Instead, turn to natural or organic skincare products and you’ll see a great improvement!

As you can see, each of these five beauty resolutions will upgrade your health and habits in general, helping you improve your life and overall well-being. All you have to is to stick to them fiercely and good things will start coming your way shortly!
