How To Have More Energy to Get You Through The Day

If you lack energy during the day then you are going to be in a position where you cannot make the most out of the hours which you have to be effective. Considering that most of us have between 14 to 18 hours in the day, even when we remove working hours from that, we should still have at least 8 to 10 hours of the day which are our own which we should use to enjoy life or work on a separate project. Unfortunately for many, these extra hours are wasted and we perform at low levels because we do not have the energy to spend them wisely. If you want more energy though the day, here are some simple tips on getting it.
Splankna
I was introduced to this excellent therapy a couple of years ago and it is growing in popularity as we speak. Splankna is a Christian-based therapy which uses small body movement techniques and breathing exercises to essentially help the body to function how it is supposed to. With just 30 minutes each week of this practice you can feel much more energized and be able to complete many more tasks in the day than you previously could and I would most definitely recommend it.
Meditation
It bewilders me why more people do not meditate on a daily basis and with just 15 minutes of this ancient technique, you find yourself with a much higher amount of energy. To meditate you simply need to find a quiet place where you can concentrate on your thoughts whilst taking deep breaths, this gives your body the chance to focus and your mind the chance to better channel your thoughts. The result is that you can focus on what is important which prevents you wasting valuable energy on the things that are not.
Drinking More Water
It is incredibly simple to do and it can have a profound effect on your energy levels yet there are still many people who fail to drink enough water during the day. When your body is dehydrated, it seeks fluid form other areas of the body to perform basic functions, this can leave you feeling languid and short on energy. Many people actually think that coffee and energy drinks are a great way of getting more energy but in the long term they d the opposite and they dehydrate the body. Aim to drink at least 2 or 3 liters of water everyday and after just a few days of this you will wake up with more energy and perform better for the entire day.
Sleep
If you don’t get enough sleep your body does not have the amount of time that it needs to fully rest and recover. When this happens, you will only have a short amount of energy for the day which will usually be used up in no time at all. Remember that your brain and your body need to rest and in order to do so you should be getting at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
