Things that can go wrong on a bachelor trip (and how to fix them)

A bachelor’s trip is man’s last stand. After that, he ties the knot and becomes exclusive to his woman. Your spouse becomes the priority of your life.

That’s why is so important to have a stag party. Even more so, you should experience Bucarhest as a bachelor. It’s that last moment before you settle down. So, you deserve to go all out and have as much fun as humanely possible.

But, nothing is ideal in this world. And, that’s why you should consider that things could go wrong on your stag trip.

Sudden Injury

It’s not like there’s a need to jinx your trip. But, you have to consider the possibility of injury.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that you are going to get so drunk that you are going to break a leg. But, considering how you are going to travel and move a lot, there’s a possibility of an injury.

Worst of all, the injury doesn’t have to be a result of a direct hit or a fall. It can start as a small injury and then progress to a bigger injury. For example, you may travel uncomfortably, which will injure your shoulder.

Suddenly you are in a world of pain. It’s excruciating, and you won’t be able to enjoy the night with the guys. But, it’s a stag party, and such behavior is unacceptable.

What to do: Keep it simple, get a shoulder ice pack. Or get any kind of anesthetic or pack that subsides the pain. Be a man, and keep it real for the boys. Stag night is once in a lifetime (for each guy friend you have) and you can rest after it.

Being Lost

Everything is prepared. You pull up to the place of action, ready for the night of your life.

Suddenly, you can’t find a hotel. Simply, you are going outside of your city and you don’t know where you are. Sure, Google maps are pointing out that you are right about there. But, you really aren’t.

Now, tensions rise. The crew is getting nervous. Some of them want to hit the showers, some want to rest, and some are ready to drink. Yet, none of that is happening. You didn’t get the right instructions. You are lost.

What to do: Make sure to call ahead, check the Google maps, and even check the local directories and maps. If possible, and you speak the local language, check with the locals. Make sure you at the right location.

Theft

You arrived at the right location. Everything is as it should be. You go to the spot where the stag party is.

Drinks are circulating, everyone’s having fun. But, at that one point in your drunken spree, you see that something is amiss. At best, you lost some money. At worst, you lost documents or the whole wallet.

You realize that you’ve been robbed. The moment of anger fleets instantly. There’s probably nothing you can do since you didn’t realize it was happening in the first place. Just hope that you have enough money to cover for drinks.

What to do: First, make sure that you don’t panic. If you are in your home country, then go straight to the local police department. If you are in a foreign country, then make sure that you get a translator and file a complaint at a local police department. Unfortunately, in both cases, you’ll have to wait.

Falling Ill

There’s an even worse scenario than theft. And that’s falling ill.

You arrive at the hotel. During the trip, you can feel something’s amiss. You check your bags but it’s properly packed. You look at your buddies and they are also fine. Then, you even check your soon-to-be wife. She cheers on for the best night out of your life.

Yet, something’s not right. And, boom, there it is. Your nose is running. You touch your forehead and feel the hotness. It’s a fever, you are falling ill.

Now, the battle begins. It’s not possible to postpone the stag night. On the other hand, there’s a high possibility that you won’t be able to finish the night. Don’t worry though. Most of the guys would just take the Spartan route, and continue the night regardless.

What to do: Well, you can go to the doctor for an examination. Or, simply, you can stack up on various medicine that you can take during the night. Also, drink less alcohol and more water, and you’ll probably make it.

Losing Luggage

All of the previous entries were connected to the night out. However, the last one is connected to the arrival and getting home. Yes, you can lose your luggage.

This often happens when you travel via airplane. Or, it may happen during the return home. You may lose your luggage. And, that just happens. So, it may not be the most pleasant part of the stag night, but it may happen.

However, if you don’t travel with an airplane, chances are low that this will happen. Just make sure to not get too drunk. And, everything will probably be fine.

What to do: Get in contact with the local authorities or call the means of your transportation. Then, you can only wait for them to find your luggage.

Make Sure to Have Fun

In the end, none of this will probably happen. So, don’t sweat it.

Just make sure to go out and have fun. This is once in a lifetime chance to have fun with your friend. Make it last.
