Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 0.5 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 stick cinnamon optional
  • 1-2 slices ginger optional

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
  3. Add hibiscus flowers, cinnamon stick, and ginger slices to the boiling water.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  6. Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
  7. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  8. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
