Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in 3 cups of cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and pour into a baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese and breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
