- 5 lb Beef Brisket
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Rub the brisket with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Place the brisket in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.
Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
Roast in the oven for 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
Remove the foil and brush the brisket with barbecue sauce.
Return to the oven and roast for another 30 minutes, uncovered.
Let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
