Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually blend in the flour and salt until well combined.
Roll dough into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
