Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Beef roast chuck or rump
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 rolls Italian rolls split
  • 1 cup Giardiniera optional, for topping

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the beef roast in a slow cooker.
  2. 2. Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. 4. Shred the beef using two forks.
  5. 5. Serve the beef on split Italian rolls, topped with giardiniera if desired.
