Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 large Carrots chopped
- 2 stalks Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion quartered
- 3 cloves Garlic smashed
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
- 2 leaves Bay Leaves
- 8 cups Water
1. Place chicken pieces in a large pot.
2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, peppercorns, and bay leaves.
3. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
5. Strain the broth and discard solids.
6. Let the broth cool before storing.
