Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 12 small Corn tortillas
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheese, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
  3. 3. Place a small amount of the chicken mixture on each tortilla and roll tightly.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the taquitos until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
