Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 can Tomato puree (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add marinated chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  5. 5. Stir in tomato puree and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Add heavy cream and garam masala, simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
