  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat each tilapia fillet in the flour mixture, then dip in cornmeal.
  4. Fry the fillets in the hot oil until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
