Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thick. Cut with a doughnut cutter.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly before serving.
