- 2 large Onions thinly sliced
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. Soak the thinly sliced onions in buttermilk for at least 10 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and black pepper.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
4. Dredge the soaked onions in the flour mixture, coating them well.
5. Fry the coated onions in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
6. Remove the fried onions with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
