  • 1 lb scallops fresh or thawed
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 whole lemon juiced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Add scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. 5. Pour in lemon juice and add butter, stirring until melted and well combined.
  6. 6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
