Hamburger Potato Casserole

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, potatoes, onion, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
