Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix plus ingredients to prepare the cake mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 box Jell-O gelatin mix any flavor
  • 1 container whipped topping thawed

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. 2. Prepare the cake mix as per the instructions on the box. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. 3. Allow the cake to cool for 15 minutes. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
  4. 4. In a bowl, dissolve the Jell-O mix in boiling water. Stir in the cold water. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it goes into the holes.
  5. 5. Refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours. Spread the whipped topping over the cake before serving.
