Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread white or whole wheat
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Cabbage shredded
  • 1 small Carrot shredded
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 slices Ham optional
  • 2 slices Cheese optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add the shredded cabbage and carrot. Mix well.
  2. 2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. 3. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook until set, flipping once. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  5. 5. Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked egg mixture between two slices of toasted bread. Add ham and cheese if using.
  6. 6. Sprinkle sugar on top of the sandwich and serve hot.
