Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Add cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
  5. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce. Stir to coat. Serve hot.
