  • 2 cups mashed potatoes leftover or freshly made
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 piece egg beaten
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon butter for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, flour, beaten egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Scoop about ¼ cup of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten slightly to form a cake.
  4. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
