Main Ingredients
- 2 large Onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- ½ cup Balsamic vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
Stir in the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Reduce the heat to low and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick and jam-like.
Let the onion jam cool before transferring it to a jar. Store in the refrigerator.
