Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup ice water

Filling

  • 6 cups peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and butter. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add ice water gradually until dough forms. Divide dough in half and roll out each half.
  4. Place one rolled dough in pie dish. In another bowl, mix peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour peach mixture into pie crust. Cover with second rolled dough. Seal edges and cut slits on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let cool before serving.
