Pesto Sauce Recipe
Classic Italian pesto sauce made with fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil.

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
Add Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.
Slowly add olive oil while the food processor is running until the mixture is smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
