Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.
  3. Slowly add olive oil while the food processor is running until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
