  • ¼ cup ice water add more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  2. 2. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3. Gradually add ice water, mixing until the dough comes together.
  4. 4. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a pie dish.
  6. 6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
