She Crab Soup Recipe
A creamy, rich soup made with crab meat and a touch of sherry.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup crab meat preferably fresh
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoon sherry
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Add flour and whisk until smooth to make a roux.
Slowly add milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly.
Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 10 minutes.
Add crab meat, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Stir in sherry and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
