Southern Buttermilk Fried Chicken

- 4 pieces Chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, coating well.
5. Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes per batch.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
