Southern Tomato Sandwich
A simple, classic Southern tomato sandwich that's perfect for summer.

Main Ingredients
- 4 slices White bread
- 2 large Tomatoes ripe
- 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper freshly ground
1. Slice the tomatoes about ¼ inch thick.
2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
3. Layer the tomato slices on two of the bread slices.
4. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
5. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.
6. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
