Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the rice and cook, stirring constantly, until the rice is golden brown.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cumin. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the frozen peas, cover, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork and serve.
