Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Add the corn, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
  5. 5. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
