Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g All-purpose flour
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter softened
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 50 ml Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Mix well.
  5. Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
  6. Pour batter into a greased and floured baking tin.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
