  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the mixture to remove the strawberry solids.
  4. Stir in lemon juice. Let cool before serving.
