Texas Twinkies Recipe
Texas Twinkies are jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, and smoked to perfection.

- 8 Jalapeños large
- 1 cup Brisket chopped
- 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
- 8 slices Bacon
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped brisket and cream cheese until well mixed.
4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the brisket and cream cheese mixture.
5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on the smoker and cook for about 1 hour, or until the bacon is crispy.
7. Brush the jalapeños with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
8. Remove from the smoker and let cool slightly before serving.
