Ingredients 

Filling

  • 250 g Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Peas

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a frying pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Add onions, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions are soft. Add peas and cook for another 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add oil and mix until crumbly. Gradually add water and knead until dough is smooth. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Divide dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle. Cut the circle in half to form two semi-circles.
  4. 4. Fold each semi-circle into a cone shape. Fill with the meat mixture and seal the edges with water.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry sambusas until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
