Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder cut into chunks
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper ground
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice ground
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine pork shoulder, vinegar, water, salt, black pepper, allspice, and bay leaf.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  3. 3. Add sliced onion and minced garlic. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve cold.
