Toasted Caprese Sandwich Recipe
A simple and delicious toasted sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.

Main Ingredients
- 4 slices Bread preferably sourdough
- 1 ball Fresh mozzarella sliced
- 1 large Tomato sliced
- 8 leaves Fresh basil
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
2. Brush one side of each bread slice with olive oil.
3. Place two slices of bread, oil-side down, on the skillet.
4. Layer mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves on the bread in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Top with the remaining bread slices, oil-side up.
6. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve immediately.
